archarter.png ARCharter™ is IMPACT's SQL Database solution for Enterprise Weld Production Information. ARCharter™ provides information via a wide range of process, production and management information charts and reports. Charts flow from a SQL server database which can contain information from multiple ARClient® and ARCAgent™ sources. Over 20 reports are available. Custom reports can be authored via Crystal Reports (not included) or any 3rd Party SQL reporting applications.

There are two primary components to ARCharter™: Database Software and Client Software. Any ARCAgent™ networked to a PC running ARClient® can feed weld production process data to the ARCharter™ SQL database software. The Express Edition of SQL 2005 (included with ARCharter™) provides 4GB of database storage for your weld production data. For databases that require more storage, the Standard Edition of SQL 2005 (available from a licensed Microsoft® distributor) provides over 1 Terabyte of database storage for your weld production data.

The ARCharter™ Client Software is offered on a per-seat license and can be run from any PC on the network with access to the SQL Server. The client software is where the weld data becomes information. Some of the standard reports available are:
